Welcome to South Georgia Institute

Since our founding in 2024, South Georgia Institute (SGI) has been committed to creating opportunities for student-athletes to develop, compete, grow, and prepare for the next level. Our vision is to provide a transformative collegiate experience that combines athletic excellence, educational opportunity, leadership development, mentorship, and strong character.

As Campus Director, I am honored to help lead SGI during this exciting chapter of growth. Every new beginning brings new possibilities, and we are building an institution where student-athletes are challenged to discover their potential, pursue their goals, and prepare for success beyond athletics.

At SGI, our mission is rooted in creating a Christ-centered, student-focused environment where faith, discipline, education, athletics, leadership, and personal responsibility work together. Through our athletic programs and academic partnerships, we strive to prepare our student-athletes to successfully transition to four-year colleges and universities while developing the skills and character necessary for success in life.

To our student-athletes, I encourage you to embrace every opportunity before you. Work hard in the classroom and in competition. Ask questions, build meaningful relationships, remain disciplined, and take responsibility for your future. Your time at SGI is an opportunity to become stronger academically, athletically, spiritually, and personally.

To our parents and families, thank you for trusting South Georgia Institute to be part of your student's journey. We recognize the responsibility that comes with that trust. Your partnership is invaluable as we work together to provide a structured, supportive, and encouraging environment where student-athletes can develop and pursue their goals.

As we continue building our future in Americus, Georgia, our commitment remains clear: provide student-athletes with a quality collegiate athletic experience built around development, education, faith, leadership, exposure, and opportunity. We are building more than athletic programs—we are developing young men and women who are prepared to lead with integrity, serve with purpose, and make a positive impact in their communities.

The future of SGI will require bold leadership, dedicated coaches and staff, committed student-athletes, supportive families, and strong community partnerships. Together, we have an opportunity to build something special and establish a lasting tradition of excellence for generations of Huskies to come.

Welcome to South Georgia Institute — where excellence meets opportunity and Huskies are prepared for the next level.
