South Georgia Institute (SGI) does not currently provide institution-owned or on-campus student housing. However, SGI works to assist student-athletes in identifying safe, affordable, and convenient housing options throughout the Albany/Americus, Georgia area.

The SGI Admissions Office provides students with information about recommended apartments, rental communities, and other housing providers in and around Albany/Americus. Whenever possible, priority is given to housing options that are convenient to SGI athletic activities and accustomed to serving college-age residents.

Housing arrangements, leases, deposits, monthly rent, utilities, and other financial obligations are agreements made directly between the student and the individual property owner or management company. SGI does not own, operate, or manage these properties.

Although housing is independently arranged, SGI is committed to helping student-athletes navigate the housing process and identify living arrangements that support a positive academic, athletic, and personal experience in Albany Americus.
