APPLY FOR HOUSING

Information for All Housing Applicants: Steps to Complete the Housing Application

While South Georgia Institute strives to accommodate all housing requests, room assignments are not guaranteed. We strongly encourage students to apply for housing as soon as they receive their acceptance and complete the steps outlined below as early as possible.

Step 1: Log On
Click here to go to the Housing Application.
Step 2:  Pay Application Fee

Submit Your $200 Non-Refundable Housing Application Fee The housing application requires a $200 non-refundable fee, payable directly within the housing application using a credit or debit card. Please note: Students must re-apply for housing each year, and the non-refundable fee is required annually. The academic year begins in the fall and covers the fall, spring, and summer terms. If you are unable to pay by credit or debit card, you may submit a cash or check payment at the SGI Business Office. However, please be aware that this method may delay the processing of your application, as payment must be manually verified by the Housing Office before you can proceed. Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive an automated email with instructions on how to complete the remainder of your housing application.

Step 3: Sign Housing Agreement (aka contract)

Digitally sign the online housing agreement (aka contract) by going back into the online housing application and finishing the remainder of the application pages. Your application is not complete until you have finished all of the online housing application pages.
