Tuition and Fees Payment Options

Accepted Payment Methods — No Cash or Checks

To ensure secure, efficient, and accountable financial transactions, South Georgia Institute (SGI) does not accept cash or personal checks for payment of tuition, fees, or housing charges. We offer the following payment options for your convenience:

 

Payment Plan Options

 

Option 1: Pay in Full

Students may pay the total balance of tuition, fees, and housing charges in full at the beginning of each academic year or semester. Full payment must be made by the published due dates:

• Fall Semester Payment Due: June 30, 2025

• Spring Semester Payment Due: December 15, 2025

 

Option 2: Two Installments

Students may split their payments into two equal installments:

• First Installment – Due before the Fall Semester begins (by June 30, 2025)

• Second Installment – Due before the Spring Semester begins (by December 15, 2025)

Note: A late fee may be applied to any payment received after the due dates.

 

Accepted Methods of Payment

1. Credit/Debit Card

   • Payments accepted online via the SGI Student Portal.

   • Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express).

   • A processing fee may apply for credit card transactions.

2. Bank Account Transfer (ACH)

   • Secure transfer from a checking or savings account.

   • No processing fee.

   • Requires routing and account number at time of payment.

3. Payment Plan Provider (if applicable)

   • SGI may partner with a third-party provider for automatic recurring payments.

   • Students must enroll prior to the start of the semester.

4. Wire Transfer (for International Students)

   • Available through Flywire or Western Union GlobalPay.

   • Please contact the Business Office for wiring instructions.
